This musical instrument wind sculpture was the recipient of the 2013 Sculptures on Parade Best in Show award. The sculpture was purchased by a family foundation and donated to Mason City, Iowa and is now part of their permanent collection.

Over the years Douglas has been developing public art installations thus allowing him to work on larger scaled pieces. “A walk through a city centre or along a rivers edge in the country is always inspiring. I imagine my work as part of the landscape then start to dream until the ideas begins to form.”
